Dua Lipa’s Bold Business-Casual Look Takes Blokecore Up a Notch in Latest Campaign

The latest Puma photoshoot captures a perfect blend of sporty and stylish.

Although Dua Lipa’s song “Houdini” is topping the charts, she has not neglected her other responsibilities. She has been serving up fashion inspiration with the latest Puma Forever Palermo campaign. The popular pop star is seen posing in soccer jerseys alongside the classic Palermo-style sneaker and indulging in delectable Italian cuisine. Previously, Dua Lipa’s Puma campaigns showcased her signature sci-fi futuristic aesthetic that was transformed with butterflies and more relaxed athleisure styles. The latest campaign, however, embraces a controversial trend and incorporates Dua Lipa’s unique style.

Blokecore, a fashion trend that gained popularity on TikTok, combines soccer jerseys with everyday wear. In the latest Forever Palermo photoshoot, Lipa is seen wearing a soccer jersey paired with a lengthy pinstriped skirt and sneakers, proving that sportswear can be mixed with business attire without appearing like a follower of TikTok fashion fads.

According to Lipa’s interview with Hypebae, the Palermo is a highly versatile item. It can be paired with denim and oversized outerwear for a casual street style look, perfect for running errands.

Additional images that exhibit the fusion of fashion include Lipa sporting all-black sporting attire, consisting of a sports bra and sweatpants, beneath a lengthy coat in a complementary inky hue. Another effortlessly replicable outfit is her combination of denim and a soccer jersey. These photographs all boast a picturesque Italian backdrop, complete with garlic wreaths, fresh produce, pizza, and a kitchen and dining room situated behind Lipa’s expert posing and sultry gaze.

Puma’s latest Palermo sneakers are being promoted by several notable figures, including Lipa and Manchester City player Jack Grealish. Grealish can be seen in the campaign sporting the same stylish shoes while posing in front of his blue number 10 jersey.
