Interestingly enough, the image also hinted that Wonder Woman had apprehended Cheetah’s accomplice, Maxwell Lord, as he was seen being held captive by her Lasso in front of US Government officials. It’s worth noting that the trailer released in December portrayed Barbara, an archaeologist and heiress, as a nerd who befriends Diana but eventually transforms into Cheetah. Unfortunately, the film’s release date was pushed back from June 5 to August 14 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
